UCS Before/After School Enrichment Program

Urban Community School’s Before Care/Aftercare program exists to complement our academics by providing before/aftercare to UCS children. The goal is to provide quality, loving care for children in an atmosphere that will balance the need to do homework with recreational, emotional, and mental stimulation and growth.

UCS offers a variety of fun and educational activities that integrate the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of your child. We work in collaboration with Urban Squash Cleveland, Saint Ignatius High School, and our current clubs, such as garden, art, choir, cooking, and math. Reading, CYO, and other activities are available for students in Kindergarten - 8th grade.

UCS staff will manage the programming.

The deadline to register is Saturday, August 1, to confirm a spot by the first day of school.

2026-2027 Before /Aftercare Registration

Before Care School Hours (K - 8th Grade): Monday - Friday from 7:00 - 7:45am

After School Hours (Pre-K - 8th Grade): Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:00 - 5:30pm; Thursdays from 2:30 - 5:30pm

Before Care Program Cost: $5.25 - $7.50 per day

Aftercare Program Cost: $10 - $25 per day (minimum of three days required)
