The Arrupe Summer Program (ASP) provides children of Cleveland’s Near West Side with academic and recreational enrichment opportunities. Children participate in daily academic classes (math, language arts, science, and healthy habits), play various sports, engage in art activities, and travel on various field trips to many places in the Cleveland area. High school students from the region volunteer their time as counselors and mentors over the five-week program. The summer program is available to students in levels 3 - 8.

For additional information on the Arrupe Summer Program, please contact Patrick Valletta, Coordinator of Programs & Volunteers, at pvalletta@ignatius.edu.

Summer Extended Day

Extended Day offers an after day camp program for children in Kindergarten - level 8. The extended day runs from 3:00 - 6:00pm. At UCS Extended Day Camp, we realize that it has been a long day for children, so we provide a healthy snack, light activities, sports, crafts, board games, and quiet time.

For additional information on the Summer Extended Day, please contact Letitia Donat, Director of After School Programming, at 216.939.8330 or ldonat@urbancommunityschool.org.
