UCS Aftercare Program

Urban Community School's after school program exists to complement our academics by providing after school care to children. The goal is to provide quality, loving care for children in an atmosphere that will balance the need to do homework with recreational, emotional and mental stimulation, and growth.

UCS offers a variety of fun and educational activities that integrate the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of your child.  We work in collaboration with Urban Squash Cleveland, The Music Settlement, Saint Ignatius High School and our current clubs: Garden, Choir, Art, Cooking, Robotics, CYO, and more for Pre-Kindergarten - level 8 students.

UCS staff will manage aftercare for students from Preschool - level 3. Arrupe Neighborhood Partnership at St. Ignatius High School will manage aftercare for students from levels 4 - 8. The after school program daily schedule is as follows:

3:00 - 3:15pm: Dismissal & Attendance (Thursday dismissal is 2:30pm)
3:15 - 4:00pm: Fitness Activities/Meals
4:00 - 5:00pm: Programming
5:00 - 6:00pm: Homework
6:00pm: Sign Out
